What is happening around your lake lot often affects the enjoyment of your lot. The first thing to look for is how close to the road is the building spot? If it is close to a road, is it a busy road? Busy roads can be noisy. Another thing to look for is what is on the lot next door. Are the neighbors close? Do they maintain their yard? Is the house well maintained. Neighborhoods can have a large effect on the value of your lake lot.
