Lot Orientation
The orientation of your lake lot is something that matters if you want either a sunrise or a sunset view. During the Northern Wisconsin Summers the sun rises as early as 5:05 am and sets as late as 8:52 pm. Southern exposure is often sought after because people want the sun to shine in the windows. One thing to remember is that on the heavily wooded lots that are common in Northern Wisconsin not a lot of direct sunlight comes through. There's no such thing as a bad direction for your lot to face, there are just some differences between the exposures.
